A Teaching Plan for the revision class of Unit 7 Ⅰ.Teaching Aims: After learning, students will be able to: Grasp the pronunciation and spelling of the key words and phrases we learned in Unit 7 Master the use of the following words and phrases: affect, respond, charge, failure, figure,hesitate, refer to, a series of, as for Learn about the Absolute Structure Ⅱ. Teaching Key Points and Difficult Points: Help students handle some important words and expressions. Some students may have difficulty mastering the Absolute Structure. = 3 \* ROMAN III. Teaching Methods: Task-based teaching Method, Cooperative Learning. = 4 \* ROMAN IV. Teaching Aids: Multi-media computer, learning sheet = 5 \* ROMAN V. Teaching procedures: Before the class: Ask students to finish the tasks of blank-filling in their Revision Book. During the class: 教学活动 Activities 设计意图 Intentions 互动模式& 时间 Interactive pattern & time 辅备栏 Step1 Check students’ preview work . Have a dictation to make sure students can pronounce and spell the selected words correctly. (invite the representatives of each group to go to the blackboard, taking the dictation) . 检查学生自主学习情况 (话题引导, 激发欲望) Interaction between teacher and students 7’ Step2 Give students 3 minutes to reread the content of lessons 1&3. 组内合作, 自学讨论 Individual work 6’ Step3 Give students several minutes to discuss their questions together in groups after reading the text. Meanwhile, encourage them to speak out their understanding of key phrases and sentences. Teamwork 6’ Step4 Encourage students to stand up and solve the other groups’ problems.
