1. Teacher invites Students to enjoy a video and asks the following questions.
1) Have ever seen the film The Little Prince?
2) What do you know about the author of The Little Prince?
2. Teacher invites students to look at a picture and guess what they are going to read and guides students to know more about him by reading the introduction to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and summarize:
1)What does the introduction mainly tell you?
2)What experience made the author write The Little Prince?
3)What kind of person do you think Antoine de Saint-Exupéry was?

Reading for general idea
Teacher invites Students to look at three pictures and describe what the pictures are about and predict what the passage is about.
Teacher guides students to read the excerpt of The Little Prince quickly and check the prediction and get the general idea of it.

5. Teacher guides Students to talk about the 3 basic items of a novel. Then Teacher guides Students to read the passage carefully and get the 3 basic elements.
