Traditionalsocietyisshiftingtoaccommo?datethepatternsofanInternet條inkedsociety, whichmeansmanysocia1structuresandprac?ticeswillbegraftedandchanged.Onegroupa?mongwhomchangescanbeseenclearlyunder thisconditionisuniversitystudents.Thisgroup willnotonlycontrolthefutureprofessional world.butwillalsocontrolInternetbothasa technologyandasasocialandculturaltoo1. Statisticsfrom2001showedthattheyouthIn?ternetusersinChinastoodataround14million, whichis85.69/5ofallInternetusers.Studying thethinkingandvaluechanges,dailylifeactivi?tiesandthepsychologicalreactionsofthismost activegroupduringthischangingtime,andpro?vidingfindingsbasedoncontemporarytheory andoriginallocalisedinvestigationwillhelpde?tectandexplainthosenewvaluesemerging aroundInternetuse. TheInternethasrevolutionizedthecomput?erandcommunicationsworldlikenoth?-ingbe?- fore.Theinventionofthetelegraph,telephone, radiosetthestageforthisunprecedentedinte?grationofcapabilities.TheInternetisatoncea world梬idebroadcastingcapability,amecha?nismforinformationdissemination,andamedi?umforcollaborationandinteractionbetweenin?dividualsandtheircomputerswithoutregardfor geographiclocation.
