Ericsson If very few bits are used for the TBS, e.g. 2 bits, this will give a very course granularity, a steps size of 128 bits in the range ~100-500 bits, which will lead to transmission of a high degree of padding bits and therefore the number of repetitions required could in worst case rease substantially. Using some extra MIB spare bits is a low price to pay in this context. We propose to use 4 bits for TBS indication.
