Teaching Process:
I。Setting the Scene
Teacher: We are nearing the end of our study on decimal n。Today。lets assess your understanding of the unit and consolidate your knowledge through Exercise 2.
II。Exploring New Knowledge
1.Display Exercise 2.n 1 on Page 19 of the textbook:
⑴。After reading the n。students compare and discuss in groups.
Teacher: What patterns did you notice。students?
⑵。Students work in groups to write a set of ns。Display and correct the answers as a class.
2.Display Exercise 2.n 2 on Page 19 of the textbook:
Teacher: What mathematical n did you find in the graph?
After students understand the n。they work independently and discuss in groups。Have students present their ns and correct them as a class.
3.Display Exercise 2.n 3 on Page 19 of the textbook:
First。have students calculate the n and then ask them to explain what each segment on the number line represents。Have students draw and estimate。Display the results.
Teacher: How do we determine the n of the quotient?
4.Display Exercise 2.n 4 on Page 19 of the textbook:
Have students work independently to calculate and verify。discuss and explain each step in groups。and display their homework.
5.Display Exercise 2.n 5 on Page 19 of the textbook:
Teacher: How do we calculate the order of ns for mixed decimal arithmetic?
Students discuss and work independently before correcting their answers as a class.
