4. Lesson duration: 40 minutes
II. Teaching objectives
1. Language knowledge objectives
By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
1) Be more familiar with family members and all kinds of names
2) Know some expressions to introduce their family.
2. Ability objectives
By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
1) Know how to get useful information from reading;
2) Know how to introduce their family by a simple passage.
3. Emotional objectives
By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
1) Have the awareness of loving and being nice to their pets and animals;
2) Have creative thinking and give different and interesting answers.
III. Teaching key and difficult points
1. Key points:
1) Students know how to find out the useful information from reading
2) Students can think from different perspectives and have creative thinking.
2. Difficult point:
Students know how to introduce their family by a simple passage.

Warm-up: revision
Review the words about family members:
The teacher invites some students to give their answers, and then the teacher shows the answers and students read the words twice together.

sister, brother, cousin, son, daughter.
Group the words:
The teacher asks students to group the words, and then invites some students and checks the answers.
