Chapter 12. Noun Clause Part One Have a try Self-introduction I was born in 1980, in a small village about 200 km from the capital city of my province . I was born in a lower-class family among a rural society. Yet I was happy. The reason was that I had a warm neighborhood , many friends, and many interesting places to play in. However, during the holidays, I had to work on the farm with my parents. They often told me that children from poor families should be more self-dependent . In 1993, I moved to another town far from home to study in a private Junior High School. One of my three elder brothers graduated from elementary school , the other two graduated from junior high school. It was almost impossible, yet it was not completely impossible. It is because there are always possibilities. Finally, through luck or a miracle, my dream came true. Now I am studying business management at a famous university. I work very hard every day. The fact is that I hardly hang out with my classmates or roommates. My professor tells me I work harder than anyone else in my class and he believes that I can make a great success someday.
