ADI ADAS Vision Solution Application Description In many ways, vehicle safety can be greatly enhanced by vision-based ADAS systems (advanced driver assist systems). By installing rear/front/side cameras and vision processing ECU, multiple features can be implemented to assist the driver in advance. Popular applications include LDW (lane departure warning), HB/LB (high beam/low beam adjust), TSR (traffic sign recognition), parking assist, rear view/surround view, collision avoidance, etc. For now, it is reported that 70% of vehicles have rear view options; 30% of high-end vehicles have front view options, and it is forecasted to reach 60% by 2015.
