So in this period we shall have the students read, listen, write and speak in English, making use of the focused words, expressions, structures and topic ideas covered in this unit. The period can go on according to the following steps: Reading and underlining,Reading and underlining all the useful expressions or collocations in the passage,Doing exercises,Making a list of body language expressions,Making a list of three positive body language expressions and three negative body language expressions,Speaking and writing and Closing down by summarizing body language. Learning aims (1)To enjoy reading the passage SHOWING OUR FEELINGS (2)To learn to use the language by reading, listening, speaking and writing (3)Students can master some basic language points. Language focus and difficulties How to use body language correctly Develop students’ reading skills by extensive reading Let students read and understand the two passages: show our feelings and the open hand-A universal sign Procedures 1. Show the learning aims to the students and ask them to read it quickly 2. Ask the students to reading and underlining Read the passage loudly and underline all the useful expressions or collocations in the passage. Ask the students to copy them into their collocation book after class as homework. 3. Disscussion, after reading and underlining, students are required to discuss with their group members to check the results. During the discussion, teacher will walk around the classroom to make sure that everyone is discussing the questions 4. Presentation, ask some students to go to the blackboard and write down some useful language points which they have discussed with their partners Some useful language points w
