ABSTRACT

Object-centricgeometricperceptionaimsatextractingthegeometricattributesof3Dob-

jects.Theseattributesincludeshape,pose,andmotionofthetargetobjects,whichenable

fine-grainedobject-levelunderstandingforvarioustasksingraphics,computervision,and

robotics.Withthegrowthof3Dgeometrydataand3Ddeeplearningmethods,itbecomes

moreandmorelikelytoachievesuchtasksdirectlyusing3Dinputdata.Amongdifferent3D

representations,a3Dpointcloudisasimple,common,andmemory-efficientrepresentation

thatcouldbedirectlyretrievedfrommulti-viewimages,depthscans,orLiDARrangeimages.

Differentchallengesexistinachievingobject-centricgeometricperception,suchasachieving
