Section A 1.This is my sister. ??译为“这是我的妹妹。” 我们常常用This is 来介绍离说话人较近的单个人或物；而用that is来介绍离说话人较远的单个人或物。 Eg: This is an apple. “这是一个苹果。” That is a banana. ?“那是一个香蕉。” 注意：(1) this 和is 不可缩写；但that和is可以缩写。 (2)This is + a/an/物主代词 + 名词；??? This is ?+ 姓名。 Eg: This is my father. / ?This is Miss Chen. 2.these “这些”是this的复数形式；指离说话人较近的一些人或物。 those“那些”是that的复数形式；指离说话人较远的一些人或物。 Eg: These are my parents. “这些是我的父母。” Those are my grandparents. ?“那些是我的祖父母。” 注意：含有these和those作主语的疑问句，在回答时需用人称代词they替换。 Eg: (1) -- Are these your sisters? -- Yes, they are./ ?No, they aren’t.
