Onthesurfaceofourskinsonfingers,toes,paandsoles,therearealot

oftextures.Thesetexturescanbesortedinto2types:theridgewhichisraised

andthedermalfurrowbetweentwocresttextures.

Thetextureonofthefingeriscalledfingerprint.Ithasthreebasic

types:arch(弓形纹),loop(箕形纹)andwhorl(斗形纹).Forloopandwhorl,

thereistritadius(三叉点).

Thenumberofridgepassedby(beginningandendingpointconnection

ridgeareexcluded)pointcenndtritadiusarecalledridgecount(纹嵴数).

Countup10fingers’ridgecount,thesumofthetotalisdefinedastotalridge

count(TRC)(总指嵴数).

Thearchhasnotritadiusanditsridgecountiszero;Whorlhastwoor

moretritadius,thuswechoosethelargestnumberasitsridgecount;Double

loophastwotritadius,itsridgecountiscalculatedbymakingconnectionswith

twocentersofthecirclesandtheircorrespondingtritadiusandthendividing

thesummationby2.
