Materials: Whiteboard or blackboard Markers or chalk Flashcards with pictures of classroom objects Handout with a fill-in-the-blank exercise Pencils or pens Chart paper or a poster with the sentence “There are thirty students in my class.” written on it Warm-Up : Greet the students and have a short conversation with them about their day and any updates. Review numbers from 1 to 30. Write the numbers on the board and have students read them out loud. Introduction : Show the flashcards with pictures of classroom objects and elicit the vocabulary from the students (e.g., desk, chair, whiteboard, book, etc.). Write the vocabulary words on the board, along with their phonetic pronunciation and translations if necessary. Have students repeat the words after you for pronunciation practice. Language Practice: Write the sentence “There are thirty students in my class.” on the board. Explain that this sentence describes the number of students in the class. Ask students to count the number of students in their class and share the number with a partner. Invite volunteers to share the number with the whole class using the sentence structure provided. Practice the sentence as a class, with students substituting the number based on their class size. Activity : Distribute the fill-in-the-blank exercise handout to each student. Instruct the students to complete the sentences by filling in the blanks with the appropriate numbers. Circulate the classroom to provide assistance and answer any questions. After completing the exercise, go over the answers as a class. Consolidation: Divide the class into small groups and give each group a chart paper or poster. Instruct th
