The materials specified herein are suitable for interior and exterior decorative applications, per the guidelines below. Approved substrate materials constitute platable grades of ABS, PC+ABS and PA, selected from the appropriate Materials Specification for the relevant polymer chemistry . For the purposes of this standard, parts overmolded with platable plastic are treated as though of monolithic construction in the second material .
