Key words and phrases: young, was, were, could, couldn’t , walk, dive, skate, count to 100, play the piano, use a spoon, throw a ball.
2) Affection and attitudes: Pupils would like to describe their childhood properly in English.

Students are able to talk about their childhood.
学情分析The students have learned English for three years. The can use English to talk about their life. They are interested in English. And they have learned past tense in last unit.

教学过程4.1 【导入】Step1 Free talkStep1 Free talk
T: Hello, boys and girls . Nice to meet you.I’m your new teacher today. Do you want to know me ? The words or pictures can help you. You can ask me three questions .
Q:What’s your name ? How old are you ? What do you like ? What can you do ?
T: Joy is my name. Because I am happy every day.
T: I’m 28. I am young . (带读young )
(1)T: I can sing. When I was three, I could sing. Could you sing when you were three ? (教学could / couldn’t )
引导学生说出:When I was three, I could / couldn’t sing.
(2)T: Look ,this is my photo album.Let’s look and talk .
T: Look, a lovely baby. Guess how old were I ? Yes, I was only two. What am I doing ?
T: I am eating . I’m using a spoon. (带读use a spoon ) When I was two, I could use a spoon. Could you use a spoon when you were two ? (教学could )
(3)What could I do ? I could dance. How old were I ? Guess! Bingo ! I was four. I could dance . So when I was four , I could dance. Could you dance when you were four ?
T: Wow, you could dance when you were four. And when I was four, I could dance , too. When we were four, we could dance. (读句子)
(4)T:This is another photo about me . I was four. Guess, could I ride a bike when I was four ?
