2.7. Sodium determination For the determination of sodium in the leaf, 10 mg dried material was cut into 1 cm length, placed in test tubes containing 20 ml distilled deionized water, and heated in a boiling water bath for 1 h. The tubes were then autoclaved at 121℃ for 20 min and cooled. The sodium
