Methods 109 pat ients w ere selected for the report ( 6 6 cases w ere CI and 4 3 cases were ICH ) . The NFDS w as used to score the se verity of neurolo ical im pairment. The relationship between the NFDS at the end of the acute period and multi clinical factors at admission w ere analyzed wit h pearson correlation and mult iple stepw ise re ression. Results In the cerebral infarction ( CI) patients, the value of T C was independent ly associated w ith the extent of NFDS and the volume of focus and the interval from onset w ere independently associated w ith the extent of NFDS in the ICH patients. Conclusions The volume of focus and the interval from onset are the commonly influencin factors of NFDS in both CI and ICH patients at the end of t he Acut e Period; Blood lipids has more import ant si nificance to CI patients, t han blood pressure.
