Sample Cold- & ysis In this we are goin er a sample introductory cold that you migh d, and this would be appropriate if, for example, you're contacting a local boutique firm and you've done an internship and you're just trying to interview around, shop your offer around. And you're contacting everyone, sending out your resume and trying to see what's out there. Now I have to preface this discussion by saying I am dist tly biased cold s, because I don't think they're nearly as effective as actual cold calls, to begin with. But if you have limited time or maybe, you can't find this particular 's phone number or something like that, then a cold might have to be reality for you. Keep in mind that cold s tend to be far less effective than actual cold calls, for the most part. Here are some general guidelines. Don't waste time. Just l them exactly what you're looking for, who you are, why you're qualified, what you're looking for, whether it's a job or internship, some kind of shadowing opportunity, or something along those lines. With cold s I think it's a good idea to actually attach your resume.
