Study skills 一、教学目标 1. 能够正确读出八个双元音 /e?/, /a?/, /??/, /??/, /a?/, /??/, /e?/ and /??/。 2. 能够读出并拼出含有八个双元音的单词。 3. 能够根据上一句结尾含有双元音的单词，补全和它押韵的单词。 二. 教学重点及难点 重点： 1. 指导学生能够正确读出八个双元音 /e?/, /a?/, /??/, /??/, /a?/, /??/, /e?/ and /??/。 2. 结合例子帮助学生读出并拼出含有八个双元音的单词。 难点：学生在根据上一句结尾含有双元音的单词，补全和它押韵的单词时有困难。 三、教学过程 Step 1 Revision Show the twelve vowels and ask Ss to read them correctly. 【设计意图】复习之前学习的12个单元音，为接下来的新授内容做好准备。 Step 2 Presentation 1. Guide Ss to learn the eight vowels /e?/, /a?/, /??/, /??/, /a?/, /??/, /e?/ and /??/. 2. Guide Ss to listen, read and pay attention to the sounds of letter groups. 3. Guide Ss to summarize the pronunciations of the letter groups by giving examples and ask Ss to take notes. 【设计意图】通过旧知引出新知，结合例词教授双元音，并引导学生总结出发音组合。 Step 3 Practice 1. Guide Ss to read, match and speak. 2. Guide Ss to check the answers. 【设计意图】学生自主探究，朗读单词并进行归类。 3. Guide Ss to look at the pairs of words, read and say the words on the right correctly. 【设计意图】让学生根据已知词汇，读出新的词汇，培养学生将所学语音知识迁移到新的词汇上。. 4. Guide Ss to practise saying the sentences. 【设计意图】听录音，跟读单词和句子，注意发音的准确性。 5. Guide Ss to read the sentences in tongue twisters and then share them in class. 【设计意图】通过绕口令的练习既增加了朗读的难度，也增加了课堂的趣味性，让学生们在游戏中练习发音。 Step 4 Extension Guide Ss to say the rhyme to complete the sentences with one suitable word. 【设计意图】注意每句中红色单词的发音，想出一个与它押韵的词汇完成句子。锻炼学生的活学活用能力。 Step 5 Summary Summarize what they’ve learnt in this class. Step 6 Homework 1. Read the eight vowels fluently. 2. Write down 5 words each for the vowels. 3.
