Z32K radial drilling machine as the equipment is used in many schools during the practice of machining. This product has been transformed from the former Soviet Union Drilling models for almost 30 years. However, the use of Z32K radial drilling machine has decreased in recent years because of low productivity of this drilling machine, the lack of economic efficiency on usage of Z32k comparably, and an increase in labors' intensity during the production. By the research analysis, the reduction of Z32K is because this product has shortage on the automatic lifting system. In order to improve the efficiency of Z32K, the lifting systems of Z32k radial drilling machine will be primarily planed to promote in this time of design. Meanwhile, the main transmission parts of the drilling are going to be reunified. To some problems which occur in actual use, and on the basis of theoretical analysis and calculation, there will develop a proposal to change manual lift to automatic lift. then make the transmission scheme reasonable, and choose the appropriate engine as the power source of the gearbox, and the lifting of the improved system has manual and automatic lifting the coexistence of function.
